First, before I start, if you are looking to build your home and considering Republic, I promise you have found your builder.

From our first interaction and design with Michelle, our logistics during the build with Sheila, and our open interaction with Scotty as he oversaw the construction, building our home at each step was refreshing, stress-free, and easy, yes, easy.

Republic's floor plans are practical and reasonably priced, with access to talented Architects to adjust or rework the floor plan. There are tons of options if you choose to upgrade, but there is also great value in the base designs. You are not pressured to pursue any additional costly change and are guided through the process with support and understanding of what you are looking for.

Republic has fair prices, reliable build schedules, and support local and larger banks for your lender needs.

In the end, once you have keys in hand, the support and communication are no different, with access to Jimmy, the resources needed, and excellent warranties to keep peace of mind.

If I had to give any constructive feedback, I would suggest additional water filtration options for property owners dealing with a well during the build process.

I have several friends that have built with this company and hands down I can say it is the most honest, straight forward and reliable company in the area. My wife and I searched for two years to find an on your lot builder. We chose Republic after interviewing 12-15 builders in the Fredericksburg/Fauquier/Culpeper areas. We felt Republic had our best interests in mind. They were motivated to work with our home ideas and able to accommodate our budget. They were honest up front, which made the transitioning to the building phase easier because there were no surprises later on. One of the scariest parts of any new construction is the site development costs because there is no guarantee that the estimated costs are going to stay in your budget. Because of Republic's expertise, we were able to stay below the allotted amount of site development costs. Our home was completed three months ago and we have not had any major issues with it. It is absolutely a great home, and of great quality! The best part is even though the house has been completed, Republic has not forgotten about us. We had some small touch ups that needed to be addresssed after closing, and Republic has since addressed those little things.
